Saturday, March 16, 2024
Lace up your running shoes for a good cause, as all proceeds from the Shamrock’n the Harbor 5K and 12K will go to the Gig Harbor Senior Center. Enjoy the scenery of the Cushman Trail as you run or walk, and 12K participants get an extra perk of experiencing the views from the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Registration ends March 17, if there are still spots available, and all registrants receive a custom t-shirt, water bottle, and a run medal.

It’s time for the annual St. Paddy’s Day Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K! All races start in downtown Tacoma and will provide a nice scenic view along the waterfront as you stretch your legs. The website has all the details as far as start times, course maps, and registration, which is open until the day of.
Bremerton St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit at the 30th annual parade in Bremerton, starting at 6th Street and Pacific Avenue. Families can have fun participating in the coin scavenger hunt, and stay tuned for other activities to be announced. If you want to be in the parade, the best float will receive a cash prize!

Get your fix of Irish music at O’Looney’s this St. Patty’s Day weekend! Friday will feature The Scuppermonkeys (5:30pm - 7:30pm) and the Katie Jane Band (8pm - 10pm), and Saturday’s show will consist of the Puget Sound Firefighters Pipes and Drums (about 6pm - 7:30pm) and Rye and Barley (about 7pm - 10pm).
